Jerimiah Rieman
Executive Director
Jerimiah serves as Wyoming County Commissioners Association’s Executive Director, representing the state’s county commissioners before the Wyoming State Legislature, working collaboratively with the Wyoming governor’s office and other state agencies on local government issues, and providing outreach and guidance to county leaders across the state.
Jerimiah most recently finished an eight-year stint in the office of former Governor Matt Mead, holding the positions of Director of Economic Diversification, Natural Resource Policy Director, Natural Resource Policy Advisor, and State Planning Coordinator. Before that, Rieman was Administrator and Policy and Legislative Advisor in the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services.
A fifth generation Wyoming native, Jerimiah grew up in Fremont County and holds a bachelor of science from the Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University and a master of legal studies from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. He is also the author of Wyoming Singletrack: A Mountain Bike Trail Guide (2020).
Jerimiah and his wife are the proud parents of identical twin boys. His family enjoys Wyoming’s great outdoors, including mountain biking, camping, fishing and skiing.
Jonathan Russell
Policy Analyst
Jonathan serves as the Wyoming County Commissioners Association’s Policy Analyst. In this role, Jonathan assists the WCCA’s executive director and county commissioners in conducting research, analysis, and writing and coordinating comments on topics of interest while helping lay the groundwork for new policies that meet their objectives.
Prior to joining the WCCA, Jonathan worked for the Wyoming Highway Patrol where he finished his career on the governor’s security detail. In total, he dedicated 18 years to law enforcement. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration and a master’s degree in Education.
Jonathan and his family take advantage of all the things Wyoming has to offer while especially enjoying camping, fishing, hiking and mountain biking.
Micah Christensen
Natural Resource Counsel
Micah serves as the Wyoming County Commissioners Association’s Natural Resource Counsel, supporting the State’s county commissioners on federal natural resources issues across the state, advocating for greater local involvement in federal decision-making, drafting comments on regulatory processes, representing commissioners in cooperator’s meetings and participating in litigation when necessary.
Micah is a 7th generation Wyomingite and grew up in the Bighorn Basin. After graduating with honors from the University of Wyoming College of Law, he clerked for the Honorable Scott W Skavdahl, Chief Judge of the Federal District Court for the District of Wyoming. Prior to joining the WCCA, Micah served as an assistant Attorney General for the State of Wyoming representing the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.
Micah and his wife Erin have three children under 5. When he is not wrangling or reading to kids, he enjoys hunting, mountain biking, and brewing beer.
Lindsey Goodman
Office Manager
Lindsey serves Wyoming County Commissioners Association as an Executive Assistant to our office. Lindsey oversees an array of operations and fiscal duties, along with office management and event planning. She thrives on managing complex schedules, coordinating meetings, and ensuring seamless operations.
Prior to joining Wyoming County Commissioners Association, Lindsey has an extensive background in Human Resources and customer service. She attended Aims Community College and The University of Northern Colorado. She brings an unwavering commitment to WCCA initiatives and programs.
Lindsey has been in Cheyenne for 12 years, originally from Loveland Colorado. Lindsey enjoys going to sporting events, attending comedy shows with her husband and most of all, spending time with her family that includes her husband Bryan, stepson Carter and son, Cooper.
Tristan Rice
Natural Resource Policy Analyst
Triston serves as the Wyoming County Commissioners Association’s Natural Resource Policy Analyst assisting and coordinating with the WCCA’s Natural Resource Counsel and Governor’s Office to understand and address the impact that federal natural resource and public land management decisions have on local economies, Wyoming’s quality of life, and the services that counties and the state provide. This includes advocating for greater local involvement in federal decision-making, drafting comments on various policy issues, and assisting with training-related endeavors.
Prior to the WCCA, Triston worked for the Wyoming Association of Conservation Districts as their Watershed Coordinator and the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality focusing on water and natural resource issues. Triston has a bachelor’s from the University of Wyoming and a mater’s from Missouri State University focused on Geology and Geography.
After growing up in Casper, Triston has lived in every major “city” in Wyoming and has resided in Cheyenne for the last three years. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends across the Mountain West.
